- Short, brutal couplet. The back squat load equals the athlete's bodyweight — heavy enough to force breaks for most, but light enough to push large sets. Thirty reps of bodyweight squats will tax the legs hard before the 1,000-m row, which turns into a pure leg-burning grind. Target 7-9 minutes for fit athletes.
