- Descending reps with ascending deadlift weight, broken up by 500-m rows. The opening 20 reps at 225 lb build fatigue before the weight jumps to 275 for 10 and then 315 for the final 5. The rows serve as forced recovery but keep the heart rate elevated. Back and grip fatigue compound — the last 5 reps at 315 lb will feel significantly heavier than they should. Total of 35 deadlifts and 1,500 m rowing.
