- Strength total test similar to the CrossFit Total but with the power clean replacing the shoulder press. Athletes work up to a single-rep maximum on each of four classic strength movements. The power clean demands explosive pulling; back squat and deadlift measure raw leg and posterior chain strength; bench press tests pressing capacity. Score your heaviest successful lift per movement and add them together.
