Stimulus
Brutal descending/ascending ladder hero WOD pairing heavy deadlifts (315/225 lb) with burpees. The deadlift weight is near-maximal for many athletes — the first set of 10 is the most taxing barbell work. As deadlift reps decrease, burpee reps increase, keeping total volume per round at 11 reps throughout. The workout shifts from barbell-dominant to conditioning-dominant as it progresses. Expect 18-30 minutes.
