- Assault Bike endurance test with a brutal penalty structure — athletes must complete 5 miles on the Assault Bike, but every time 2 minutes elapse before the distance goal is reached, they must stop and perform 150 reps (50 air squats, 50 push-ups, 50 sit-ups) before returning to the bike. Elite cyclists and conditioned athletes complete this with few or no penalty rounds; typical athletes accumulate 3-6 penalty sets, turning this into a grueling 40-60 minute effort.
