- Ascending ladder within an EMOM framework. Starts easy with 1 burpee in minute 1 but builds rapidly. By minute 10, you need 10 burpees in 60 seconds (manageable). By minute 15, you need 15 burpees (very challenging). By minute 20, 20 burpees in 60 seconds is near impossible for most athletes. The workout ends when you cannot complete the required burpees within the minute. Tests pacing, cardiovascular capacity, and mental fortitude. Most athletes last 12-18 minutes.
