- Short, heavy couplet where the 315-lb deadlift demands respect every rep. Only 25 total deadlifts, but at this weight most athletes will need to reset between reps by the later rounds. The burpees provide active recovery but also drive up the heart rate for the return to the bar. Fast athletes will finish under 10 minutes; most should target 12-15.
