- Stimulus
- Descending overhead volume ladder with decreasing weight and reps — but the catch is the weight drops are not proportional to the rep drop. 21 heavy push jerks followed by 15 push presses and 9 strict presses tests overhead strength and technique under fatigue. Athletes who move well through the jerk will gas out on the strict presses at the end.
