- Pure sprint — two athletes alternate single burpees for 5 minutes, racing the clock and each other. No rest strategy; the goal is maximum total burpees as a team. The alternating format keeps both athletes moving continuously, each getting a one-burpee rest while the partner goes. Expect 40–60 combined burpees.
